SMS Career Highlights
From September 2006 Dave worked in the role of Marketing Automation Project Manager with Suncorp and was engaged to manage the procurement and set-up of the project to deliver this outcome.
Dave successfully established the project team and a qualified Steering Committee that agreed to the defined Project Management Plan including the definition of the business need, project scope and expected benefits. Dave achieved the project’s stated goal of starting work with a procured MSP before Christmas 2006, giving Group Marketing the opportunity to establish the Marketing Automation solution and realise the necessary benefits prior to June 2007.
In early 2006 Dave worked with Tabcorp in the role of Loyalty Business Analyst and embarked on a project to merge existing casino management systems for the three Queensland casinos. Dave was responsible for managing the requirements of the new loyalty system and ensuring they were recorded in a clear and concise manner available for sign-off by the business.
Background
Graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Systems Analysis – University of the West of England, UK, Dave is able to draw on his experience of PRINCE2 to ensure that projects are managed within a structured framework and that quality project deliverables are produced. He has strong leadership and communication skills gained from liaising with Senior Business and IT professionals in many organisations. He is able to leverage technology to deliver outcomes that extend business capability.
